Caitlin Grabarek - Math Teacher

I was born in Massachusetts, raised in Louisiana, and then moved to Colorado to live near the mountains. I earned a BA in Anthropology at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) and a teaching degree at Denver University along with some more mathematics classes. I’ve been a math tutor for 5 years and this is my second year teaching math at Vantage Point.

I chose to teach at VPHS because having smaller class sizes gives me a chance to work one on one with each student to help him or her be successful in math. I want my students to rock at math because doing so is a ticket to better jobs and having good number sense offers some protection against people who will try to take advantage of them financially.

When I’m not grading papers, working with  students after school, or tormenting my classes by singing the quadratic formula to the tune of “Pop Goes the Weasel”, I love to take cross country motorcycle trips with my significant  other, scuba dive in strange and exotic locations, travel anywhere I can afford to go, work in my tomato garden, watch TV, play board games, spend quality time with my cat and two dogs, and laugh at stupid things I find on the internet.

I can be reached by phone 720-972-8363 or e-mail.
