I was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota and soon moved to Colorado and have remained here ever since. The passion in my life is my son Jake; he is 9 years old and is very active. He loves soccer, so I have become a soccer mom. My hobbies are traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
I attended Westview Elementary, huron Junior High School and Northglenn High School. I then continued my post-secondary education at Colorado State University and completed my Bachelors of Arts at Metropolitan State College. I then worked in the business world for many years. In 2002 I completed my Masters in School Counseling.
I am a school counselor and I also teach School to Career classes. I feel privileged to work at Vantage Point because I feel that we have the greatest students and staff. I like the family atmosphere that Vantage Point has and I think that each person at this school has their own unique characteristics and when you put everyone together we can overcome most everything.
