Hi my name is Sandee Pinkerton. I have been teaching in District 12 since 1976…in only two schools… Northglenn Junior High School (before it was a middle school) and Eastlake/Vantage Point Campus/Vantage Point High School. I was born in Santa Monica, California…moved to Las Alamos, New Mexico…moved to Las Vegas, Nevada…moved to Joliet, Illinois…moved to Denver, Colorado. I collect lighthouses, books, CD's and DVD's. My main hobby is reading…and reading some more! I love to read…it opens up a world of possibilities for people and lets you travel places you can only dream of! I love the Harry Potter Books because they have provided kids with a purpose and love of reading. I also love shopping and giving presents to other people. I work part-time in the summer for National High School Rodeo (besides teaching summer school), and I go to the Finals Rodeo and help there.

I went to elementary school, junior high school and high school in Las Vegas …my senior year of high school and college in Illinois . I have a BA in English/Social Studies and have worked on my MA in five different areas…the only class I never took to finish them all was Statistics…I am not good in math.
At Vantage Point I teach Literature classes…such as… British Literature, American Literature, World Literature, Survey of Literature, Shakespeare, Mythology, Boy's Literature, Humanities classes, Writer's Workshop and ACT Prep.
