Garden Club

With the help of a generous grant from the Colorado Garden Foundation in 2022, Vantage Point is proud to have its first vegetable garden built by students and teachers!

Our mission is to introduce our students to the basics of horticulture and gardening and use the garden as an outdoor laboratory to teach standards-based science, art/design, and health/wellness.

Our goal is to teach students to be healthy adults who understand the basics of nutrition and growing food and help them develop life-long skills and an appreciation and enjoyment of gardening, which, has so many physical and mental health benefits. Students will receive guidance from teachers and local community master gardeners who have offered to share their expertise.

Garden Club meets once a week on Wednesdays in Aug and Sept, then will move to every other week in Oct-March until it’s time to plant again!  Meeting time is 1:50 pm - 3:00 pm in the Art room.
