Vantage Point houses district's only Mock Trial team
Last year, Vantage Point Social Studies teacher Erik Carlson started a Mock Trial class with the purpose of providing students with the opportunity to prepare for and perform a court case trial. The class hooked our students so much that they decided to enter the Mock Trial tournament, where they saw success and gained traction for the next year. This year, the team has been preparing diligently in order to start the season strong at the Adams County tournament in Broomfield on February 28th. The team extends a special thanks to Northglenn PD and Officer Tate for inviting the team to practice at the Justice Center on January 30th. Vantage Point High School also houses the district's only Mock Trial team. We are so proud of these students and staff for all their hard work, and we invite anyone who wants to come out and support us on February 28th!
Special thanks to the Vantage Point High School community for submitting this Five Star Story.
