Greetings from the Dragon’s Den!

I am the proud Principal of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Alternative Campus including Vantage Point High School. Welcome to our website where you will find a vast amount of information about the great opportunities we offer to students who do not fit the traditional mold of comprehensive high schools.

Vantage Point High School is a choice program where students and families independently make the decision to apply for our program. Students are never required or forced to attend our school, because we know that students will not put all their heart into the opportunity if they do not want to be part of the community.

We are striving to build strong relationships with our students while providing rigorous instruction to prepare them for the next stage of their adult lives. Our goal is to be the best alternative high school in Colorado, and in order to meet that goal we must ensure that we educate the whole student. We provide intense supports through our Discovery Program to ensure that our students are attain strong adult skills along with academics. We believe that our students should strive to be better people as well as better students.

Students who graduate from Vantage Point High School receive the same Adams 12 Five Star Schools diploma as other graduates from around the district. Over the past two years, 100% of our graduates have been accepted to a 2-year, 4-year, trade school, or military. Whatever our graduate’s dreams are, we want to make sure they have a plan before they leave us.
